The Ortovox Trace 25 is a superlight ski touring and ski mountaineering pack. Ortovox have managed to get the weight down to just 445g (strip-able down to 395g) while retaining many of the features of their popular ski packs. All the features of the pack have been redesigned slightly to get you moving faster in the mountains.
The large main compartment of the Trace pack is accessed by a large U shaped zip on the back panel, which allows full access to the entire contents, including the dedicated avi gear holders. The front features a zipped pocket suitable for maps or guide books which can be accessed quickly. Skis are carried diagonally across the pack and for more technical day tours there is also an ice axe carry. There is a large mesh pocket down one side whic his ideal for a water bottle or spare gloves. Ortovox have even kept an integrated mesh ski helmet holder on the pack.
