Haute Route 40

Ortovox Haute Route 40

The Ortovox Haute Route 40 is larger version of the popular Haute Route pack. The accessibility of the Haute Route 40 is excellent as it has a zip both at the top and the back of the pack, ideal for quickly finding gear. Ortovox's O-Flex frame back system makes it comfortable to wear for long tours as the slender design distributes weight between the hips and shoulders. Equipped with a separate safety compartment for your avalanche protection kit, a front pocket specifically designed to take a map and with axe, pole, crampon and rope attachment points the Haute Route 32 is well equipped to give easy access to your gear whilst touring.

Constructed with 420D Nylon it is abrasion resistant and well able to cope with the tough demands of hut to hut use whilst remaining lightweight. It has both a frame and diagonal ski carry options as well as snowboard carry, a helmet net, ice axe and pole fastenings.
