Black Diamond Distance 22 The Black Diamond Distance 22 pack is a day pack designed for fast moving mountain activities. The Distance 22 is a hybrid between a small climbing summit or day pack and a running vest. If you are planning on moving fast and light in the mountains and on technical terrain & scrambles this is the pack for you. The vest style carry system prevents pack bounce when running. The main 22L compartment is on the large side for a running pack but will carry everything you need for a day out. At just 412g the Distance 22 is also small and light enough to be rolled up and carried in a larger pack for summit pushes or multi pitch routes. The running vest style shoulder straps are constructed from a totally breathable mesh and stitch-less edge taping for comfort. There are two flask pockets designed for soft flasks as well as two zippered chest pockets. There the straps meet the side of the pack there is and adjustable elastic cord system to ensure a secure fit while running.
