Sea To Summit Comfort Plus Insulated

The Sea To Summit Comfort Plus Insulated Mat is a synthetically filled mat with a dual layer construction throughout the mat. It features Sea To Summit's Air Sprung Cells for an impressive level of comfort. The two layers are completely separate from each other providing a highly adjustable, warm and comfortable mat. This is an ideal mat for cold weather camping, particularly if you value the adjustment of your mattress.

The Comfort Plus uses a layer of Thermolite insulation in each individual cell whilst an Exkin Platinum fabric is used between the layers to reflect heat back towards the top of the mat further increasing the insulating. This does mean that there is a right way and a wrong way up on this mat, which is easily identified by where the logo is. The two layer construction allows the pressure of the top and bottom layer to be adjusted separately, this gives an unrivalled level of adjustment: You could have the bottom layer very firm if you're using it on rocky ground, whilst the top layer could be kept relatively soft if you don't like a hard mattress. It also has the added bonus that if you should puncture the mat only one side of it will deflate, so it's not a nightmare if you can't, at the time, repair it. It does come with a pump stuff sack, repair kit and a spare valve flap.
