The Thermarest NeoAir XLite NXT is and improvement on Thermarest's iconic XLite mat. Now quieter, more comfortable and warmer the XLite NXT is the mat of choice for superlight backpackers and mountaineers.
The improved ThermaCapture technology featured in the NeoAir XLite NXT is a series of baffles made from a reflective fabric which provides an almost complete barrier to radiative heat loss. The updated ThermaCapture technology is much quieter than previous versions helping you get a good night's sleep. Unlike the mats with which Thermarest is almost synonymous, the Neoair range is not self inflating, instead it needs to be inflated by lung or pump power leading to its great advantage, low weight.
The WingLock valve system has a large opening for rapid one way inflation so no air is lost. The WingLock valve also features deflation 'wings' so the mat can be deflated and rolled up easily. The mat comes with a pump sack so it can be inflated easily, and without blowing warm damp air from your breath into the mat.
