The Exped SIM Lite 3.8 is a light and packable self inflating foam filled mat for basecamp or car camping. The foam inside has holes cut out in strategic locations making it much more compressible and lighter, without sacrificing the self inflation ability. 3.8cm thickness is comfortable enough for day to day use. This mat is an excellent choice for car campers looking for a comfortable and easy to use mat that won't take up all the room in your boot.
The SIM Lite 3.8 will inflate most of the way itself thanks to the foam filling, but may need to be topped up depending on your preference. This can be done using a mini pump.
