Black Diamond Evac 7

The Evac Shovel 7 is the UIAA certified top of the range compact and durable two-way use shovel from Black Diamond. It has 2 modes, a standard shovel and a hoe mode. Hoe mode is easily switched to by simply reversing the handle placement. A large shovel assists in fast snow removal, essential in emergency situations and a flat-bottom profile helps you get a good clean face on your pit wall if you are using it for snow study.

A telescopic shaft and large D handle make digging faster and easier, essential during an emergency. The anodized blade is tough and capable of cutting into hard snow blocks. Compact and durable with an extendable handle the Evac Shovel is able to cater for all your backcountry needs.
