Nalgene Tritan Wide Mouth Bottle

A great piece of kit , very useful to see how much water you have left, and the measurements on the side good for cooking at the bivi site!

What is there to say about this bottle other than its brilliant. Its virtually indestructible and does not contaminate the taste of your water. The wide mouth is ingenious as I can put ice cubes in it to keep my drinks cold and it makes filling it up and cleaning it so easy. Granted, caution is needed when you drink from it, lest it be all down you, but that's easily resolved with the 'Easy Sipper'. FYI the MSR Hyperflow water filter has a lid that fits directly onto this bottle and drink from but more importantly you can clip on the Hyperflow and filter water straight into it.

I have looked for a good quality water bottle for quite some time and have not been disappointed. Nalgene have produced an item that will last me for some time. It fits perfectly into my pack when out hiking and is easy to use, thanks to the large screw cap (Even at this cold time of year with my gloves on). There is a perfect seal to the bottle and it is extremely durable and will happily withstand the knocks of the great outdoors. Although it costs a little bit more than other bottles on the market it is quality and will last. I am more than happy with my purchase.

I bought this Nalgene Triton bottle in grey a few days ago from Facewet . I previously used a Platypus bladder and hose but was tired of the cleaning it. Well thebottle is fantastic, extremely well made it oozes quality! , what is reassuring is you know it is not going to develop a puncture (like the platypus Camalback bladders! ). The measurementsdown the front arevery very useful for cooking when your out(there is nothing worse than a watered down freeze dried meal ! when you are tired and hungry). I have done that before and regretted it well it will not happen with the Nalgene, the best water bottle/carrier I have ever bought thanks Facewest.

This is the 3rd one of these I have, I have never had one of them leak, the extra wide mouth is great for topping up the fluid with snow :) the extra one I have just bought will be with me whilst I wild camp in Glencoe in Feb. A good water bottle you will not find any better :)

I used this bottle for camping and hiking trips, as it has a wide mouth I used it to store a small survival kit inside, this is very handy when I use my kayak as its strong buoyant and of course waterproof. I also chose this bottle because I can use my Steripen with it, the wide mouth is ideal for this, I chose the clear bottle so I can see the light from the Steripen(to make sure its working). Overall these bottles are very strong well made, with graded markings on the side for measuring, the best out there.

Got one for my other half who moans about water bottles either leaking or having too narrow a mouth, or both. This it literally the best bottle I have tried, no leaks, big capacity, looks good, fits in side net of rucksacks no funny tastes. Ordered myself one straight away and is worth double what they sell for. Only gripe is the lettering and markings are absolutely rubbish and will probably have rubbed off before you open it!

It may seem like a ridiculous price for a water bottle, but quite frankly it's the best out there! The resin they're made of is absolutely bomber - mine has suffered all kinds of abuse and isn't even scratched (although some of the markings have come off). The measurements marked on the outside make it brilliant for backpacking trips, useful for cooking measurements. Also brilliant as a guaranteed dry-place for keys and such.

A great bottle, doest leak, is bomb proof, doest taste, and has a wide mouth with endless possibilities. what more do you need?

Although very expensive for a bottle, it is as good as it gets. I use it all the time, especially for isotonic drinks (the wide mouth fits perfectly the spoon that comes with them) and for cooking, when I need to put a specific quantity of water over the dehydrated food. Very durable as well.
