DMM Revolver Wire Gate

The DMM Revolver Wire Gate is their innovation that was first put to use with their Revolver Screwgate. The technology cleverly reduces rope drag through the use of a built in internal pully wheel.

It can reduce rope drag where the rope may have to turn some tight corners, to take the strain out of crevasse rescue or hauling on big walls. Essentially DMM have added a pulley wheel allowing a rope to run with reduced resistance. Use the Revolver Wire Gate on an long quick draw and it could make all the difference of pulling around the lip of a roof or not.
