Black Diamond Flare

The Black Diamond Flare is an emergency use headtorch that takes up minimal room in your pack and weighs just 27g (with batteries). The flare is small enough to fit inside a chalk bag zip pocket or a gel pocket in you running shorts. It's constructed from a durable aluminium body with IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating, tested to operate under 1 meter of water for 30 minutes so will easily stand up to poor weather. The flare runs on two lithium CR2032 batteries that can be stored inside the headtorch for up to 10 years, so its always ready to go in an emergency.

The flare has a 40 lumen output which is enough to get you off the hill or administer first aid in dying light. It has low and full strength white light settings as well as red lighting, strobe and SOS modes. The headband is simple, compact and easy to use and adjust, keeping the flare securely in place while in use.
