Petzl Swift RL

The Petzl Swift RL is a super lightweight headtorch with a huge 1100 Lumen max output and reactive lighting, weighing just 105g. The Swift RL is ideal for night time trail running and mountain biking and is bright enough for picking out routes during alpine starts on long mountaineering routes. Reactive Lighting uses a sensor on the front of the headtorch to detect ambient light levels, as the ambient light drops then the Swift RL will increase its output. The Swift RL can also be used in standard lighting mode which has a constant output level.

The Reactive Lighting and Standard lighting modes both feature three beam patterns for a wide range of uses; Flood beam designed for proximity lighting, to see up close or around the feet. The wide angle provides a very wide and comfortable field of vision. Mixed beam consists of a flood beam and a focused component, allowing both proximity lighting and longer-range vision for moving around. Narrow beam allows focused lighting on a target in order to see objects or people at a distance.

The Swift RL features an ergonomic, adjustable headband which is comfortable and will sit in helmet mounted headtorch clips. A five level battery indicator gives an accurate indication of how much charge you have left, and a lock function prevents accidental activation in your pack. The Swift RL runs on an ACCU Swift RL rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery (also available separately). The battery pack is replaceable allowing you to take spares on longer outings.
