The Rab Cirrus Alpine Jacket is a synthetic insulated version of their ever popular Microlight Alpine Jacket. Made from 100% recycled materials the Cirrus Alpine packs a lot of warmth into a lightweight and packable jacket with some serious environmental credentials.
The outer is made of recycled 30 denier Pertex Quantum ripstop nylon fabric which is very lightweight, breathable and windproof with a DWR treatment for extra protection from damp conditions. The Cirrus HL insulation is a loose fill similar to down feathers, but made from 100% recycled polyamide. It offers similar warmth and pack size to down feather but has the major advantage maintaining performance even when wet, making the Cirrus Alpine jacket the perfect jacket for UK conditions.
The fit is slim and forming - ideal for a close fitting midlayer. The insulated hood is adjustable and features a laminated brim and a flexible polymer peak, making it ideal when you need to batten down the hatches. The cuffs are elasticated and the hem features dual drawcords so it will keep a close fit, preventing spindrift getting inside. All the zips on the jacket are YKK Vislon. There is plenty of storage with two zipped harness compatible hand pockets. The jacket also comes supplied with its own stuff sack for ease of packing and protective transportation.
