The Rab Arctus Parka is the ultimate in cold weather protection from Rab. This ultra tough, waterproof 750FP Down insulated Parka will keep you toasty in the harshest weather. Built for those stationed at remote outposts, living in cold climates, or exploring extremely cold environments, the Arctus Parka's features are designed to help you operate more easily. Large patch pockets offer fuss-free storage and an insulated chest pocket for gadgets or snacks. Oversize zip pullers are easy to grab when wearing bulky gloves, aluminium D-rings can be attached to a skidoo kill switch, and a ventilated chin guard allows you to breathe easily without exposing skin or fogging goggles.
The durable 70 denier Pertex Ripstop Nylon is separate from the secondary Pertex Shield 2L Waterproof Drop Liner, unattached to zips making for straightforward patch-ups if necessary, and drawcords are not sewn in for easy replacement. Boxwall construction throughout the Parka maximises warmth by preventing cold spots where down baffles meet. The adjustable hood has internal cordlocks and rear hook and loop volume control and removable snap on faux fur hood trim provides protection from strong winds.
There are two large, synthetic insulated, concealed zipped pockets on the upper chest and two large patch pockets with hook and loop on lower torso for large items. For safety in low visibility there are large reflective patches on upper arms and lumbar.
