Black Diamond Distance FLZ

The Black Diamond Distance FLZ is a lightweight aluminium pole featuring both Black Diamond's Z-Pole folding system for speedy deployment and packability and the Flick Lock adjusting system for an adjustable length. Ideal for long approaches, trekking, backpacking and trail running, these poles have it all.

The folding Z-Pole system comprises a three section pole that has a coated cord running through it's length. At the lower and middle joints this coating is expanded into a cone shape that enables fast assembly and provides strength. Using Black Diamond's Speed Cone technology to deploy the pole, you just pull the grip and the first shaft sections away from each other. This snaps the pole into place where it will lock. The Flick Lock adjustment is at the top of the pole and gives an adjustable range of fifteen centimetres. Collapsing the pole is just as easy, as there is a single push button to release the locking mechanism so the pole can be folded back into it's super compact shape. The poles also come with interchangeable rubber and carbide Tech Tips.
