The Arcteryx Womens Proton LT Hoody is a lightweight, highly breathable, insulating softshell. Ideal as a mid layer when doing aerobic activities in cold conditions. Perfect for a variety of activities be it alpine, ice or rock.
Keeping you warm is the Coreloft Compact 80 insulation throughout the jacket. Coreloft Compact 80 is highly breathable insulation so the Proton LT can in many cases replace a fleece midlayer, providing additional windproofing. The Fortius Air 20 outer fabric has a DWR coating to provide weather protection whilst also remaining highly breathable to prevent overheating when you're working hard. The lining fabric is highly breathable Permair 20 which is dope dyed, a process which requires far fewer resources than regular dying techniques.
It has a trim fit, making it ideal as mid layer, but it could also be used as an outer layer in warmer weather. The hood is helmet compatible and is also insulated. The No Slip Zip is an Arcteryx feature which works like a series of speed bumps down the zip so the zip doesn't slip from the position you put it in, even when it's not fully zipped up. There are also two hand and one chest pockets, as well as dual hem adjusters, to keep the warmth in.

Customer Reviews of Arcteryx Womens Proton LT Hoody (Winter 20)
Excellent, high quality jacket that dumps a lot of heat during activities like running or mountain biking. I’m 5’5” and around 65 kilos, athletic build and the small fits well with plenty of flex in the shoulders for reaching up overhead. The medium fit me in the shoulders as well, but was much more loose fitting around the waist.
