    Full Description

The Arcteryx Norvan LD 3 is an ultra lightweight, long distance running shoe. It features a highly breathable yet exceptionally hydrophobic and hard wearing Cordura upper mesh which also easily folds down for space saving when packing. It has a Vibram MegaGrip outsole with aggressive 4mm lugs designed to perform in all terrain in both the wet and dry, combined with a Vibram LiteBase midsole to reduce the overall weight.

The integrated sockliner is designed to keep dirt and debris out of the shoe whilst providing comfortable support for your foot. The midsole includes an anti fatigue insert and has a 9mm drop with a total 18mm stack height to maximise comfort on runs that last all day.

These shoes were extremely comfortable and well fitting out of the box, and true to size. Unlike some other Arc'teryx shoes which I've found too narrow in the sole, these are much better shaped and give plenty of ground contact and stability. Wore them constantly during a two week holiday, walking for many hours every day on various terrain, both city and trail. No issues at all, they made all the difference to the trip. The material is light and breathable, but the weave is also tight enough to offer protection from light rain. I'm now planning on getting the GTX model for proper rainy days too. Highly recommended.
