Lightweight Luxury

After a couple of years with a plastic Spork I pushed the boat out and bought this MSR fork and spoon.
The result has been, although not life changing, a great improvement in culinary camping. No spilling, splattering or bending. All this with a feather weight.
It may be expensive and hard to justify but in my mind an investment that should last for years.

Probably a bit of overkill but this pair of eating irons are excellent and light. They are lighter than many plastic equivalent and a lot stronger to eat with, slice cheese with the handle and scrap the pan bottom with. A spoon is also much better than a spork for eating porridge or soup. I guess the only downside is the price.
