    Full Description

The Nordisk Mos Down Shoes are lightweight and warm down insulated slippers for use in mountain huts, in your tent or your camper van. After a freezing day with your feet squished into ski boots or kicking your crampons into bullet hard ice, there really is nothing better than warming your toes up in some cosy down shoes.

Duck down filled providing your feet with ultimate insulation. The shoes are light and extremely packable, making them a luxury you can afford to carry on multi-day trips and expeditions. The sole of the Mos shoes is constructed with an anti-slip pattern making it ideal for use on hut floors. Elastic around the tops seals heat into your feet. The shoes also come with a carry bag for easy storage and transportation.

These are designed as lightweight hut slippers for occasional use. They are not robust enough for everyday household use.

Each of the colours has a different outer fabric, however this makes no difference to the functionally to the slippers. They are fabric remnants from sleeping bag production so do have slightly different properties. These are as follows:

    Blue:
    15 x 20 Denier Rip-Stop Nylon
    Red:
    40 Denier Rip-Stop Nylon
    Orange:
    20 Denier Airtastic Nylon

I purchased these to keep my feet warm in a tent and was impressed with how light and small they pack down. I haven't tried them out whilst camping yet, but have been wearing them around the house and they are toasty warm and should do the job I got them for. My only concern is that the material is the same as a down jacket and I'm not sure that will be hard wearing enough for footwear, but these will only be used for sitting around in a tent so it shouldn't be an issue.

Pleasantly surprised by these for the price, first time I've bought this type of slipper. As others have mentioned there are of course much more expensive tent slippers available, but for regular trekking or even simply campsite camping, these would do perfectly. The come with a pretty useful mesh storage sack (as it's good to not store 'down' things compressed) and are much more durable than I was expecting, though I'm not going to wear them round the house - I think FW specifically mentioned they're not for this. I'm usually 43/44 and the large fits perfectly. I have an issue with Raynaud's disease (had the check the spelling of that. . . ) meaning my hands and feet can get super cold in the winter which can obviously be a real pain for any outdoor sports. These slippers though have gone a long way to helping with that for trekking/camping, and I'll probably take them next time I use my bivi too since they weigh next to nothing.

Judging by the first pair that I received, which were to correspond with my normal shoe size, then there is a sizing problem with this product. However, once exchanged for the next size down they were a comfortable fit. They are very light weight and very warm and can be worn without socks without experiencing cold feet. They also pack very small and will not only take up hardly any space in your case but will not use up any of your valuable, and often meagre, luggage allowance.

I bought these slippers for a ski touring trip. I'm a size 10 and the large are a good fit, despite the sizing information. They are light and pack down small which is a must for touring. However they are also toasty warm. They appear to be a bit fragile, I was careful with them over the week and they look fine. I thoroughly recommend these, much nicer than the random slippers that you get in the huts.

Thankyou, cozy and light weight, ideal for relaxing in the yacht after a days ski touring in Lyngen Norway. Come with a useful net storage bag.

So warm, light but slightly odd fit, bit baggy, medium was ok for size 43. Really nice just in tent only. All these years had cold feet on tent floor. Now ok, going to Norway next year cycling my way North from home so will be good test!

I took the advice of other reviewers and purchased a small pair even though I am a size 6 and they are a perfect fit. They are light and cozy and will take up very little room in my bag when I am travelling.

Great camp slippers. Cons:A bit too warm for in the house and the soles are not that rigid (as you get with the NorthFace ones) so you'll need to be careful what you step on. Pros:Super light and easy to compress. Washable and look great.

Warm, light, sole suprisingly robust (rigged foam not down), brush lining is pure luxury. I deliberated and got the Medium even though I am a 44 and they are a perfect fit! :-) These are definitely slippers not socks, for when you need to carry them when hut touring or dry camping.
