Black Diamond Camalot Ultralight

Black Diamond Camalot Ultralight is a 25% ligher version of Black Diamond's tried and tested Camalot C4. Black Diamond have replaced the wire stem with Dyneema, stiffened with a plastic sheath. The lobes have been specially sculpted to reduce weight with minimal loss of strength. The nylon sling on the C4 has been replaced on the Camalot Ultralight with a 14mm dyneema sling, further reducing weight.

The double axle provides Camalot Ultralights with a very large expansion range allowing a smaller number of cams to cover a wide range of crack sizes, meaning even less weight for the climber and less trouble selecting the right size cam.

The Camalot Ultralights come in 7 overlapping sizes, fitting cracks ranging in width from finger to stacked jams. We stock the sizes 0.4 to 4 which cover the kind of placement you will come across whether you are in the UK, on a long Alpine route or on a classic North American splitter crack.
