Description
The Rab Windveil Jacket is a full zip technical runners layer made with a combination of wind and water resistant Pertex Quantum Air and more breathable and fast wicking Motiv jersey fabric. The Windveil is perfect for mountain running where some protection from colder high altitude air is needed.
20 Denier Pertex Quantum Air is a lightweight, windproof nylon fabric that offers high levels of durability and weather protection without compromising weight and is finished with a DWR coating that provides extended life to the water repellency of the jacket. The Windveil jacket uses this fabric on the front and arms where protection from the wind is needed. The back of the jacket is made from Motiv Aero single jersey fabric which is soft feel and fast wicking for temperature regulation and moisture management.
The YKK full zip allows for fast head dumping when needed to regulate your core temperature when required. The back of the jacket features a small pocket which doubles as a stuff sack. Part elastic cuffs and a half hem drawcord help prevent the jacket from flapping around in the wind and assist with trapping warm air, keeping your core warm.
