The Rab Women's Xenon Shield Jacket is a lightly insulated shell made with a waterproof Pertex Shield outer and PrimaLoft Silver synthetic insulation, keeping you warm and dry on active winter days. Versatile and fully featured, it's ideal for mountain hikes and winter mountaineering where both weather protection and warmth are required in a single garment. The 2-layer Pertex Shield fabric delivers a 20,000mm hydrostatic head and matching breathability, while body-mapped PrimaLoft Silver insulation traps warm air exactly where it's needed most. From the Scottish Highlands to the Alps, it's built to handle whatever the mountains throw at you, making it a smart investment for regular outdoor use.

A 2-way adjustable hood with concealed internal cord locks, single-handed adjustment, and a stiffened flexible polymer peak provides added protection, while a YKK AquaGuard centre front zip with a chin guard adds comfort. YKK AquaGuard pit zips allow efficient core ventilation, and articulated sleeves improve fit and comfort. Two YKK AquaGuard zipped hand pockets, extended glove-friendly cuffs, and an internal mesh stuff pocket with a YKK zipped security pocket complete a genuinely versatile winter mountain jacket.
