The Rab Kinetic Alpine Stretch Jacket is a highly breathable, stretchy waterproof shell offering all-day comfort on long, steady ski tours and hardworking alpine ascents. Built with 40D 3-layer Pertex Shield fabric featuring 4-way stretch, it delivers a 30,000mm hydrostatic head and 25,000g MVTR breathability, making it exceptionally well suited to the sustained uphill effort of ski touring as well as technical winter climbing. The stretch construction moves with you on exposed ridgelines and steep skin tracks, while still offering dependable protection when the weather closes in. From the Scottish Highlands to the Alps, it's built to handle whatever the mountains throw at you, making it a smart investment for regular outdoor use.

A mountain helmet-compatible 2-point hood offers excellent protection and visibility without feeling bulky, while a 2-way YKK VISLON AquaGuard front zip and 2-way full-venting pit zips regulate temperature during high-output climbs. Two semi-concealed AquaGuard chest pockets plus a dedicated ski pass pocket keep essentials accessible, and an integrated RECCO reflector adds backcountry safety. Extended cuffs with hook-and-loop adjustment and a dual-sided mitt-friendly hem complete a jacket engineered specifically for alpine and ski touring performance. These thoughtful design details combine to deliver a jacket that performs reliably across a genuinely wide range of mountain conditions. It's a considered, well-built design throughout.
