Sea To Summit Wilderness Wash Pocket Soap

These soap leaves are pretty good but you'll need about 10 of them for a small bowl of handwashing laundry. I used to make my own out of strips of cotton soaked in concentrated liquid detergent & then dried in the summer sun (or a dehydrator! ) so these are a miniature version of this; naturally they're a lot lighter & smaller than the home-made versions! But that's the deal - they are a miniature version. One will just about let you wash your hands but to do any meaningful laundry, you'll need either a lot or mix them with some soap (often provided free of charge in most hotels or hostels). I'd use them again because they're very handy to keep in my washbag for an extended backpacking tour, but they do have their limitations.
