The Rab Descendor 40 is a lightweight 40-litre ski touring pack built for longer backcountry missions, multi-day traverses, or days when you need extra capacity for safety gear and spare layers. Constructed from recycled 210D nylon with a PFAS-free DWR, it pairs durability with a close-fitting, snow-shedding back panel via the TRI-FLEX carry system. A removable aluminium back panel stay shaves weight for lightweight pursuits when full support isn't required, and a roll-top main compartment adds flexibility for variable loads, from single-day tours to hut-to-hut adventures. Built to handle repeated seasons of backcountry travel, it's designed to reward skiers who demand genuine reliability from their touring kit.

An integrated RECCO reflector provides passive safety, while a zipped front compartment gives quick access to avalanche safety equipment. Multiple ski and optional vertical snowboard carry options adapt to your discipline, and a lower gear compartment with zipped side entry keeps skins or crampons within easy reach mid-tour. A zipped goggle pocket, rope feed-out port, integrated helmet carry, and two HeadLocker ice axe attachments complete a pack engineered for serious ski touring and backcountry travel.
