Petzl RAD System

The Petzl RAD System is a complete, ultra-lightweight, and compact kit designed for backcountry skiers. This all-in-one solution is perfect for crevasse rescue, rappelling, and roping up on glaciers when exiting crevasse zones. The kit includes 30 metres of RAD LINE 6 mm cord, specifically engineered for superior grip and control during descents and fall arrests. With its hyperstatic design, the cord offers less than 2% elongation, ensuring efficient rescue operations and eliminating the yo-yo effect during rappels or crevasse fall arrests. The system also features three Sm’D SCREW-LOCK carabiners, a TIBLOC ascender, a NANO TRAXION progress-capture pulley, and a 120 cm ST’ANNEAU sling, all neatly stored in a durable storage bag.
