The Mountain Equipment Superflux Hooded Jacket delivers all-weather mountain insulation combining warmth, breathability and protection. Down-like POLARLOFT Featherless insulation sits beneath windproof, weather resistant DRILITE LOFT 40D outer fabric with a DWR finish, giving 230g (size 12) of warm, packable synthetic fill that performs even in damp conditions where down would struggle. This makes the Superflux warm and protective enough for freezing mountaineering and ski touring days, yet packs down small enough that there's never a good reason to leave it behind on a long day out in the mountains. A Mountain fit gives unrestricted movement with room for additional layers underneath.

A stitched-through construction keeps the jacket warm, lightweight and packable, while an Insulated Mountain Hood is fully adjustable for extra protection in bad weather. A 2-way YKK Vislon centre front zip with an insulated baffle eliminates cold spots, and two zipped hand warmer pockets offer easy access for essentials. An internal zipped security pocket secures valuables, and elastane-bound cuffs with dual-tether hem drawcords fine-tune the fit precisely. The jacket packs into its own hand pocket with twin karabiner carry loops, making it easy to carry on a harness or pack at 550g.
