Description

The Mountain Equipment Women's Jokla Jacket is a lightweight down jacket built from windproof DRILITE LOFT 20D outer fabric with a DWR finish, filled with 183g (size 12) of 90/10 800 fill power goose down. This high-quality down, combined with a heat-reflective internal scrim, gives the Jokla exceptional warmth for its weight without unnecessary bulk, making it ideal for cold belays, winter hillwalking and high-altitude mountaineering. A dual-layer offset baffle construction eliminates cold spots at the seams, giving the freedom of movement of a narrow baffle down jacket with none of the usual drawbacks, so it performs equally well on technical alpine ground or around camp in freezing conditions.

Feature-wise, the Womens Jokla is built for serious mountain use. The Insulated Mountain HC Hood and insulated collar are helmet compatible for added protection on exposed ridgelines, while a 2-way YKK Vislon front zip with an insulated baffle removes draughts down the front. Two zipped hand warmer pockets and a chest pocket keep essentials to hand, and an inner zipped security pocket plus a large internal mesh pocket give secure storage for valuables or spare gloves. Elasticated cuffs and dual-tether hem drawcords let you dial in a precise, wind-sealed fit. At 490g, it packs down small for its considerable warmth.
