Is this the end of the down jacket? A fully windproof DRILITE LOFT 10D shell with a DWR finish covers a double layer of Aetherm precision insulation, delivering an outstanding, near down like warmth-to-weight ratio, loft and packability that holds up even when down would struggle in damp conditions. Built for mountaineering, ice climbing and winter belays where reliability is non-negotiable, the Mountain fit allows unrestricted movement and room to layer beneath it, while Shoulder Shield Construction reduces seam-related water ingress in exposed areas, keeping the insulation dry and effective on long alpine & Scottish routes. Aetherm insulation is chosen specifically because it retains loft and warmth even after repeated compression in a pack.

The helmet-compatible Super Alpine HC Insulated Hood with Cohaesive cordlocks offers exceptional protection in the worst conditions on committing winter climbs. A 2-way YKK Vislon centre front zip with an insulated baffle eliminates cold spots, while two zipped hand warmer pockets and two chest pockets provide easy access to essentials at a belay. Two large inner pockets and a tethered stuff sack store gloves, bottles or the jacket itself when packed down small. DRILITE LOFT 10D lining at the hem, cuffs and hood protects the insulation from moisture, and elasticated cuffs with dual-tether hem drawcords seal out the wind.
