Description

The Mountain Equipment Intra Light Vest is a fast-moving insulated layer built for high-output mountain days. A 40g/m2 Aerius-insulated front is combined with a highly breathable Octayarn warp-knit back, giving core warmth exactly where it's needed while managing moisture during hard efforts. This construction makes the vest a genuinely versatile piece of ski touring kit, equally at home on the skin track, running in winter conditions, or during alpine climbing where core warmth matters more than covering the arms. Wind resistant HELIUM 20D fabric and a DWR finish add further protection against the elements without compromising breathability during high-output movement in the mountains.

A YKK Vislon centre front zip with an insulated baffle eliminates cold spots, while two zipped hand pockets and a chest pocket keep essentials close during high-tempo movement uphill. Stretch armholes and dual-tether hem drawcords allow the fit to be adjusted precisely, sealing out wind while retaining freedom of movement through the shoulders and arms. The vest is supplied with a lightweight stuff sack and packs into its own pocket, so at 200g it's easy to carry as a just-in-case layer on long ski tours or fast alpine days when conditions and effort levels can turn quickly. This vest genuinely earns its place in a pack for unpredictable mountain weather where conditions can change fast.
