It pairs 60g/m2 Aerius synthetic insulation with wind resistant, lightweight HELIUM 20D outer fabric and a DWR finish, giving reliable warmth and breathability whatever the conditions throw at you. This makes it a dependable year-round layer for hiking, climbing and backcountry skiing, with performance that holds up even when things get damp, unlike down. An Alpine fit with articulated, pre-shaped sleeves gives unrestricted movement and room to layer beneath, keeping the jacket warm and functional through wet Scottish winters and long ski touring days alike, whatever the forecast brings.
The Insulated Mountain HC Hood features rear adjustment and is helmet compatible, giving protection whether you're on skis or scrambling on rock. A 2-way YKK Vislon centre front zip with an insulated baffle eliminates cold spots, and two zipped hand pockets keep essentials close during a long day out. Stretch cuffs and dual-tether hem drawcords seal out wind while fine-tuning the fit over gloves, and the jacket is supplied with a lightweight stuff sack so it packs down small for easy carrying.
