At its core is premium DRY DOWN insulation (850 cuin fill power), which retains its loft and warmth even in damp mountain conditions (please not that this does not make the down waterproof), while high-loft recycled synthetic insulation reinforces exposed areas like the shoulders and forearms for extra durability where it's needed most. The outer shell uses ultra-lightweight 10D Pertex® Quantum Pro fabric with a PFC-free DWR finish, delivering excellent weather resistance and abrasion protection without unnecessary bulk. Weighing just 578g, this relaxed-fit jacket is ideal for winter mountaineering, ice climbing and alpine expeditions where warmth-to-weight ratio is critical.

Engineered with the demands of technical mountaineering in mind, the Taiss Pro Belay IN Hooded Jacket features a climbing helmet-compatible hood with one-point adjustment, plus Boxwall chamber construction that eliminates cold spots by keeping down evenly distributed. A robust 2-way YKK® VISLON® centre-front zipper allows quick venting or harness access via a snap-button storm flap, while two harness-compatible front pockets and a zipped chest pocket offer secure, glove-friendly storage. An internal neck gaiter and higher-mounted, two-point adjustable hem lock in heat, complemented by fleece-lined stretch cuffs for a sealed, comfortable fit.
