The Mammut Pro Protection 45L is one of the largest volume airbags that we sell. If you need more kit than this bag will take then you can't have an airbag. This bag is for extended touring missions or those touring into locations with other goals.

The Pro Protection 45L is very well featured for whatever style of alpinism you are doing, there's a full list of features below. The Pro Protection uses the Protection 3.0 airbag which offers additional head protection, though it is a little heavier than the removable system Mammut bags. The Protection system is removable, though it's not as easy than with the removable airbags.
