The Mammut Nordwand Pro Jacket is the hard shell jacket for the most extreme conditions. Made from GORE-TEX PRO Most Rugged for the perfect combination of weather protection and abrasion resistance. GORE-TEX PRO Most Rugged is the most durable waterproof membrane produced by GORE-TEX. The Nordwand Pro has every feature you could need in an all mountain jacket, patterned with Mammut's High Reach Technology which allows amazing freedom of movement. The zip off internal snow skirt expands the jackets range of use to skiing but is removable if not needed for your choice activity.
The Helmet-compatible hood with reinforced peak and 3-point adjustment creates a secure fit to keep out the worst of the elements. The hood and hem uses one-hand adjustable drawstring cords with COHAESIVE stoppers for easy and precise adjustment of hem and hood - even when wearing gloves. The waterproof YKK VISLON 2-way front zip features a chin protector made from soft microfleece. There are plenty of storage options with an internal chest pocket with zipper, a chest pocket with water repellent zipper, two internal glove-warmer pockets made from mesh material and two climbing harness-compatible front pockets with waterproof zippers. A pocket pleat add more volume to the two main packets. There is also a sleeve pocket with water-repellent zipper which is ideal for a ski pass. For extra heat dumping there are underarm water-repellent 2-way pit zips.
