A patent-pending sliding collar locks the crampon firmly in place, improving safety and ease of use when transitioning on the mountain. The 3D-shaped front and rear rails, made from 2mm steel, provide excellent penetration into hard snow and ice for enhanced traction and stability. With 12 steel points, CE EN 893 and UIAA 153 certification, and compatibility with EU sizes 36–50, the Griffin 12 comes supplied with both a toe bail and semi-auto toe basket, ensuring maximum adaptability across a wide range of boots.
