The Black Diamond Quickdraw Probe 240 is an excellent value, lightweight aluminium avalanche rescue probe. The light and strong aluminium sections are connected with a stainless steel internal cord.
Speed ferrules allow the sections to join very quickly with the 'one-pull' cord. Probing sensitivity is exceptional as the alloy tip is over sized, creating a wider hole than the probes shaft. The probe has high visibility markings every 1cm giving an accurate indication of depth. All together a light probe that works really well for touring or for beginners.
