The Rab Cirrus Ultra Hoody is the ultimate synthetic companion for cold weather mountain endeavours. This lightweight, packable jacket combines innovative technologies and premium insulation to deliver exceptional warmth and weather resistance, even in damp and cold conditions. The Cirrus Ultra utilises a zoned insulation strategy for targeted warmth.
PrimaLoft ThermoPlume blown synthetic insulation on the core provides exceptional warmth-to-weight ratio, mimicking the feel and loft of down. PrimaLoft Gold Insulation strategically placed on the side panels, underarms, and shoulders for better resistance to compression under a backpack and durability. Rab's Thermo Ionic Lining Technology (TILT) scrim on the torso reflects your body's radiant heat back, boosting core warmth without adding bulk. The outer layer features 20D Recycled Pertex Quantum Pro fabric, offering exceptional wind and water resistance with a fluorocarbon-free DWR (durable water repellent) treatment. This lightweight material also packs down incredibly small making the Cirrus Ultra a fantastic belay jacket.
The Cirrus Ultra features a helmet-compatible hood with rear elastication, a concealed internal face adjustment, and a stiffened peak provides maximum protection from the elements. 2-way YKK VISLON center front zip with an insulated zip baffle and a fleece-lined chin guard ensures easy layering and comfortable ventilation control as well as easy access to your belay device while belaying. Four YKK zipped pockets; Two hand pockets for convenient storage, two insulated chest pockets for valuables, and an integrated stow pocket with a harness attachment loop for streamlined carrying.
