The Rab Nebula Pro is a great option for dealing with the UK's often cold damp environment with it being a synthetically insulated jacket with a water- resistant outer. It is constructed from Pertex Quantum Pro which has a DWR treatment so it sheds light rain. It is totally windproof yet is still very breathable. Cirrus insulation gives many benefits of down although it is synthetic, but unlike others it is not been formed into a sheet, instead it remains a loose, water resistant down-like fibre that expands to form a "cloud of warmth". It will deliver the same warmth for weight as 600 fill power duck down.
As well as great lofting properties, Cirrus is very compressible and robust. As it is very fast drying, Cirrus will get back up to full insulation properties a lot faster than Hydrophobic down or other synthetic insulation. Micro baffles prevent the Cirrus from migrating through the jacket while the lighter internal Hyperlight rip-stop liner ensures it has the freedom to loft.
The hood is helmet compatable and features a flexible polymer peak to help protect your vision when the weather takes a turn for the worst. The main YKK Vislon zip is two-way making it convienient if you need to put it on whilst belaying. The jacket can be stowed inside the left hand pocket as this doubles up as an integrated stuff sack. The hem drawcord and lyra cuffs help to seal the jacket and prevent unwanted spindrift gaining access.

Customer Reviews of Rab Nebula Pro Jacket
I have it for a few days. the fit is slim. the medium I got is kinda tight around the chest but I am sure the large would feel like a bag though.its bit long as well.it drops a lot lower than the waist covers all the butt.which is good for warmth but keeps coming upward when you bend, ride a bike etc. the hood has limited adjust just shortens the front of it and the plastic peak keeps poking at the back of the neck.for the money I guess its a good choice I would prefer a shorter length a better hood a better fit under the arms. the rest is all good nice pockets nice warmth. also it takes alot of time to dry after washing. but all good I'll keep it.a nice affordable piece to have.(all notices are compared to an Arcteryx atom ar in medium which is #1 at all of these except a bit chillier for winter not being active a lot) I got sweat riding my bike with the pro in 0 celsius.
