Description
The Thermarest Trekker Chair is a great accessory for comfortable camping with all Thermarest mats. A clever arrangement of straps and pockets forms your mat into a comfortable, robust seat ideal for chilling out at the campsite. The kit has been redesigned with elastic sleeves to make it compatible with the Thermarest Neoair range so it can be used with all inflatable Thermarest mats up to 63cm wide.
There are 2 sizes depending on the width of your mat. The 20inch model is for mats up to 51cm wide (small, medium and regular mats). The 25inch model is for mats up to 63cm wide which are the Large size.
Unfortunately XL and XXL sized mats are too large for the Trekker Chair.
Thermarest mat not included.

Customer Reviews of Thermarest Trekker Chair Kit
Love it. Comfort whilst camping !
Although I have only given this 3 stars it is a very good and clever little chair but the price is ridiculous if it's came with with the semi self-inflating bed pad then I would have said yes the price is justifiable but £40 for the slightly larger one is absolutely ludicrous It is is a really good chair don't get me wrong but it's not worth no more than £20-£25 pounds
This chair is really comfy. It gives great support to your back and lifts you off the floor. It works really well with my NeoAir.It packs down to practically nothing and hardly adds any weight to my pack. The main issue I can see will be keeping your mattress clean - keep something underneath.
I was swayed to get one of these by a climbing partner and don't regret it - it is a luxury item but weighs very little. If you want to enjoy your camping this is a real must.In fact it is so comfy I frequently use it at home whilst watching a movie.I now have the new Neoair All Season mat which does not fit it so well.
I have not used this in earnest yet. However, it fits my Thermarest very easily and seems to provide a very convenient and lightweight addition to my kit. Easy to assemble and comfortable too.
Purchased this for my Alpkit Base 180 Airmat. Fits fine.
Adjustable side straps mean you can have the seat upright or leaning back. Finding an angle between upright and leaning slightly back seems to be best balance wise and comfort wise, for me. Too far back and balance begins to suffer. Rolls up small, and comes with a mesh net cover. Weight wise, mine seems to weigh in at 322g (with the mesh bag) and 307 (without bag) which is a little more than the official 298g that Theramrest portray.
Other than that, a nice product to rest your back on camps/walks.
This is a great little product, and probably the best way of adding a chair to your (relatively) lightweight trekking kit. Adds that extra little bit of comfort on long trips without adding too much weight or bulk.
As a chair it is surprisingly comfortable and as you sit at ground level it is convenient for sitting on while cooking. The adjustable straps mean you can vary the angle the back is at for a more relaxed position - ideal if you want to do some sunbathing (although unlikely if trekking in the UK!)
You have to totally remove the chair kit from the Thermarest to get it back flat for sleeping on, and you can't roll up your Thermarest with the kit on either.
