Full Description
The Petzl Gully is an ultra light technically shaped axe designed for lightweight technical mountaineering and steep skiing. The banana shaped pick tapers to 3mm for excellent hooking and unhooking as well as efficient penetration in hard ice. The adze and hammer are minimalist to keep weight down but are sufficient for clearing holds or hammering protection.
The Gully features an easily adjustable trigrest which can be easily moved without the use of tools. The pick and shaft are both type 1 (B rated) and with a shaft length of 45cm it's compact and easy to carry when not in use, the bevelled spike also allows it to be carried inside a pack without damaging other items.
