The OMM Classic 32 is the original pack from OMM and has been around since the 70s, though it's gone through several refinements over the years, this is the latest for 2020. Originally designed for mountain marathons this versatile pack has been used for skiing, biking and trekking all over the world.

The pack has a single compartment with a hydration sleeve and is topped by a lid with a zipped pocket and a toughened 'peak' to aid usability while on the move. The main features of the pack are the mesh pockets with easy access to save valuable time. On either side mesh pockets easily accommodate drink bottles or a wind shirt. On the main body a large stretch mesh pocket with compression cords is great to retain waterproofs that you may need quick access to during your run. The hip belt has two further zipped pockets ideal for gels. The hip belt is held in place with two metal tent pegs and can now be removed and used as an independent waist pack.

A Duomat provides padding to the back of the pack and doubles up as a sleep mat during mountain marathons. The mesh covered foam shoulder straps sit comfortably whilst a chest strap and hip belt hold the pack securely to the body.

Ok I'm a long time runner but a recent novice in the adventure scene, so when faced with the realisation that I needed to buy a backpack I did my share of research and settled on the OMM Classic 25 - so far so good as its everything the reviews and running peers say about it: incredibly light! You forget you're wearing it and its quality in terms of the material and construction: plenty of room to store clothing, food, safety gear and drinks - so I feel I've made a good buy that will last for a very long time!

I bought this pack after owning other OMM Packs (Jirishanca 35 and Mountain Mover 55) The build quality is perfect and the pack is practically bomb proof thanks for the Dyneema material. The feature set and the comfortable carry make this pack a must have for day hikes. I really like the pockets on the hip belts for storing food and gloves and the likes and the Duomat which comes with it is nice and comfy for lunch breaks. I use the pack every day for work to carry my laptop and rain gear and lunch.

Perfect backpack for our India Travel - I had to persuade my partner to have interest in the OMM Classic - and finally the weight, the system and the handling of this 5 ***** package equipment spoke for itself to be the best for our traveling and sportive purpose. I do absolutely recommend the OMM Classic 25!

I bought this more for climbing and hiking and general use. Initially I liked the large front mesh pocketfor stowing bulky items like my climbing helmet - though I found this fiddly and not very effective. The side mesh pockets are more useful though one now has a mouse-hole in it from a rodent's attack on my lunch that was stowed in it. Small mesh pocket on the lid is very handy, as is the zip lid pocket. The back padding is a fold out foam mat that has seen a lot of use (mainly on evening visits to the beach with the girlfriend). There are even more pockets on the waistbelt- one each side which I did not use much as I rarely carried enough in the pack to make the waistbelt necessary, and anything in the waistbelt pocket when the belt is not in use is not easy to reach. The pack is very light and comfortable and has weathered a lot of use (though it is not mouse-proof).

I purchased the OMM Classic 25 for my wife and the 2013 BAMM, BjÃƒÆ’Ã‚Â¶rkliden Arctic Mountain Marathon. The first impression when we got it was really good. I wanted it for myself instead of my Marmot Ultra Kompressor 20L. The padding is on the right spots and the waist belt is really nice and the OMM Classic is very comfortable and stays still on your back when running in the mountains. You really get the impression that a lot of thoughts, development and tests lays behind the design and the smart solutions. My wife was very satisfied with the OMM Classic and will use it again in the 2014 BAMM.
