    The Leatherman SuperTool 300 is the perfect tool for the working man. It has the largest sized pliers Leatherman have produced that include removable wire cutter blades, this is so they can be sharpened on the excellent file keeping their edge. The blades have larger cut-outs so you can easily pull a blade out even when wearing work gloves.

    The Supertool has a total of 19 tools built into it, all made from the highest quality steel ensuring that this tool will cope with really tough jobs, an ideal choice for any tool box. The 300 also comes with a Nylon pouch allowing the tool to be kept safe and sound on a belt and also to hand.

    Love the tool it sits on my hip most of the time. this is the second one I have owned. My only reason for dropping 1star is the knife blade doesn't keep a sharp edge and the pouch has a press stud closing rather than Velcro. Those apart as I say I love it.

    This SuperTool was to replace one I had previously lost and so I was very familiar with the product. It has been solid and reliable and we use it for camping/hiking. In fact, the saw came in handy to cut up some firewood that was too long to fit into a log burning stove in a hut that we had hiked to in winter. The saw enabled us to burn the wood in the stove which dried out our wet clothes and kept us warm. The only thing I would add to the 300 is some scissors (like the Charge titanium I also have).

    Call that a multitool. This is a multi tool from the olde school. Form and function. Utilitarian in every aspect. No scissors for dressmaking out in the fields. This is strictly a dirty finger nail biting device to use and abuse not to put in a glass case on the mantelshelf to admire. Blades specifically designed to cut away from you with leading edge turned inward. If you don't like don't buy. Liking this knife is not what it's about. Getting the job done out the way and put away. No thinking just do the job. All the thinking has been done for you so go to it.

    Bought this one for my son, we all now have one and wouldn't be without them at work. Essential part of the kit and lost without it. I've had Leatherman's for many years and the after sales service is second to none. I've seen people using the other ones on the market and there is no comparison.

    Already having owned a much earlier Supertool 300 I was Impressed with the new features on the current model. It is much kinder on the hands and the new lanyard loop is a massive improvement.

    Great - only draw back no bit driver included in the tool or with it. Very nice to use and strong pliers giving good grip. Would recommend highly if you're active outdoors.

    No problem with the article but was very surprised to find that the engraving of the name and phone number was on the knife blade! I wonder how many people would, on finding a supertool, would immediately think to look on the blade for I. D. . My son-in-law has one and his name is on the outside!
