Full Description

The Leatherman Skeletool RX has been designed for Emergency services and first responder use. Leatherman have stripped the tool down to only the essentials to create a very compact and lightweight package.

The blade is 154CM stainless steel that will hold its edge 3 times longer than regular 420 steel and is heavily serrated to provide a highly effective fabric cutting edge. In addition to the regular philips and flat head bit drivers there is a Tungsten Carbide tipped large bit for breaking glass. Finally the RX has a bright orange Cerakote finish so you will always find it in a hurry.

Please note: engraving is not currently available on this tool.

As a water sports instructor and a expedition paddle leader I was looking for a back up rescue knife that did more than just cut stuff. In addition to a fixed blade fully serrated knife I've always carried a folding fully serrated knife in my PFD pocket as a spare. The Skeletool Rx fulfills this function and much more. Whilst I never hope to need it, given some of the shuttle vehicles I've been in it even has a glass breaker just in case!
