DMM Ceros Screwgate

The DMM Ceros Screwgate is a locking carabiner designed for safe belaying. It has 2 features to help prevent cross loading the first is the 'Rhino Horn' on the back of the 'biner. This helps to prevent some locking assisted belay devices moving around the 'biner and crossloading it. The second is the clip at the bottom of the carabiner - opening downwards this spring loaded clip will cause the carabiner to default to the correct orientation on a belay loop in the even it hasn't been correctly located.

Other features on the Ceros are the round top bar for smooth rope handling, and an I-Beam construction. Overall this is a great carabiner which will give a smooth performance for new or safety conscious belayers.
