The Patagonia Better Sweater Quarter Zip is a casual regular fitting knitted fleece warm mid layer that is versatile enough for either active or casual use. It is constructed from 100% recycled sweater knit outer with a soft fleece interior to provide good insulation and wicking properties. It's dyed with a low-impact process that significantly reduces the use of dyestuffs, energy and water compared to conventional dyeing methods.
The quarter length zip extends to the chin for warmth. The Better Sweater features raglan sleeves for mobility and pack-wearing comfort and a single chest pocket for small essentials. The cuffs and hem have spandex binding to seal out the cold. This garment is Fair Trade Certified sewn, which means the people who made it earned a premium for their labor.
