The Arcteryx Alpha Parka is a heavily insulated fully featured belay jacket which is fully windproof, ultra-warm parka for standing around in sub-zero conditions.
This is a seriously warm expedition piece.
Arc'teryx use both down and synthetic insulation to maximise performance using 'down composite mapping' in the Alpha Parka. This means they've placed both down and synthetic insulation in different areas to maximise warmth and overall performance.
The durable outer nylon fabric combined with Gore-Tex Infinium makes the Arcteryx Alpha Parka abrasion resistant and windproof and of course you get an insulated fully adjustable helmet compatible hood and a great selection of external and internal pockets.
