The Arc'teryx Alpha Lightweight Parka perfectly balances warmth and pack size, creating a belay parka sheltering you from the cold and wind so you can focus on your task. RDS certified 850FP goose downs outstanding warmth is complemented with mapped synthetic insulation for added breathability in moisture-prone areas. Exceptionally breathable 2L GORE-TEX INFINIUM with ultralight, ultra-durable Hadron face fabric blocks wind and resists water while adding warmth equivalent to 100g of down. The Alpha Lightweight Parka is a bomb shelter of a jacket for the absolute worst conditions.
Hadron is a proprietary fabric Arcteryx created to redefine the standard for superlight alpine durability. Engineered with a liquid crystal polymer ripstop grid to deliver abrasion resistance rivalling fabrics twice its weight.
The Alph Lightweight Parka features seam taped GORE-TEX INFINIUM face fabric for windproof, water resistant, highly breathable protection (however GORE-TEX do not consider INFINIUM to be waterproof to the same standard and regular GORE-TEX so the Alpha Lightweight Parka is not considered to be fully waterproof). The durable Hadron face fabric reinforces hood, chest, shoulders, sleeves, and rear hem. The helmet compatible StormHood goes over a climbing helmet and moves with your head. A draught collar holds in warmth, cuff gaskets seal out draughts and dual lower hem adjusters allow you to really seal yourself in. The two way main zip aid access to your belay device while belaying. There are two hand pockets, two internal dump pockets and one chest pocket.
