MSR Elixir 2 Person Green

The updated MSR Elixir 2 is a spacious, lightweight backpacking tent built for three-season adventures, from spring treks to autumn overnighters. Designed for two campers, it now features an expanded floorplan with increased interior volume, easily accommodating modern 25-inch (63.5 cm) wide sleeping pads like the NeoLoft™. With a generous 104 cm peak height and 2.8 m² of floor space plus 1.41 m² of vestibule storage, there’s ample room to sit up, stretch out and even bring your packs inside when the weather turns.

Built for durability and long-term waterproof performance, the Elixir 2 uses premium technical fabrics with newly updated coatings to improve hydrolysis resistance and extend lifespan. The rainfly is constructed from 75D ripstop polyester with a 1500mm polyether urethane coating and PFAS-free DWR finish. The floor features robust 75D taffeta polyester with a 3000mm waterproof rating, while the canopy balances 20D nylon micromesh and 40D ripstop polyester for optimal ventilation, warmth and privacy in changing mountain conditions.

Freestanding and intuitive to pitch, the Elixir 2 includes colour-coded 7000 Series aluminium poles, matching webbing and a footprint as standard for added ground protection. New straight, no-curve door zippers are easier to locate at night and improve durability, while premium all-metal corner hardware elevates long-term reliability. Two large StayDry™ doors, kickstand-vented fly and generous side-entry vestibules enhance airflow and weather protection. Inside, a large gear loft and multiple pockets with cable ports keep your equipment organised for efficient, comfortable lightweight camping.
