Rab Ionosphere 5

The Rab Ionosphere 5 is an ultralight 3 season insulated sleeping mat. Designed for alpinists and mountain expeditions the Ionosphere 5 is also an excellent choice for lightweight bikepackers, hikers and mountain marathoners. The Inonosphere 5 features Rab's TILT heat reflective technology which bumps up the warmth while adding a negligible amount of weight. This is the same stuff that's in their mythic Ultra sleeping bags and jackets so it does not have the crinkly sound that other heat reflective mats can have.

Inside the Ionosphere 5 is Rab's Stratus 100% Recycled Polyester insulation. This provides an impressive level of warmth over a standard air filled sleeping mat and will prevent heat loss through convective currents resulting in the mat's 4.8 R-Value. The mummy shape provides just the right amout of sleeping space while keeping the overall weight and pack size down.

The Ionosphere 5 is constructed from lightweight 20D Recycled Polyester with internal TPU Coating and fluorocarbon free DWR that will ensure that the mat dries quickly should any rain get in through your tent. The 2 way inflate / deflate valve means that the mat can be quickly inflated using the included pump sack, then when it's time to move on can be quickly deflated.
