Description
The Petzl Altitude Harness is an ultra lightweight mountaineering or ski touring harness perfect for fast and light adventures. Considering the tiny weight of the Altitude it's got a surprising number of features. Wireframe technology means the waist and leg loops are wider than you'd expect, plus there are 2 integrated gear loops. The main fastening is a DoubleBack light buckle which is easy to operate, even with gloves. The leg loops can be unbuckled allowing the harness to be donned with skis or crampons on and each leg loop has a keeper with siliconised interior to secure an ice screw so it's not flapping around off a gear loop - a great little innovation for a lightweight harness and perfect if you're skiing with ice screws.
