The Patagonia Down Sweater Hoody is a lightweightand versatile narrow baffled down jacket. It's a perfect all round down jacket that can be utilized as an insulated layer in the mountains or as a belay jacket, as well as keeping you warm between attempts on your latest boulder project. The clean design and contoured fit mean it's also a smart jacket for around town too.
Now updated and constructed from a durable and windproof fully recycled Polyester Ripstop made from Patagonia's NetPlus 100% recycled nylon from recycled discarded fishing nets. The outer has a PFC-Free DWR treatment to help shed moisture and snow. The 800 Fill Power Advanced Global Traceable Goose Down provides an incredible warmth to weight ratio, making the jacket highly packable. The down is certified by NSF International from parent farm to apparel factory to ensure that the geese used in supply are not force-fed or live-plucked.
The Down Sweater Hoody features a single pull adjustable hood with a centrally placed Vislon zip that has a wicking interior storm flap and a zip chin guard for next-to-skin comfort. For storage there are two external Vislon zipped handwarmer pockets with garages and one internal chest pocket that doubles as a stuffsack with a clip in loop. A long hem provides plenty of protection and the single drawcord hem adjustment tightens from inside the handwarmer pockets. So no more accidentally clipping gear to your hem loop when worn with a harness, cord locks at front hem release this. The nylon-bound elastic cuffs assist with sealing in warmth and are comfortable and are low bulk.
